LEDGER’s first acceleration round launched officially during the 4th and 5th of July with its WELCOME CAMP at Pakhuis De Zwijger in Amsterdam. 

Hosted by Dyne.org, supported by their consortium partners FundingBox and Blumorpho, the Municipality of Amsterdam sponsored event served as a first 2 day induction and public platform for the 16 selected human-centric projects. 

During the first day partners and mentors introduced themselves and their methodologies to the cohort, and projects were able to network and interact with each other on different levels, including outdoor activities in the morning, making use of the fantastic weather conditions and location by the water, and group pitching reviews in the afternoon, in preparation for the public sessions on Day 2. 

Day 2 saw frenetic activity in the morning with projects taking part in different workshops and mentoring sessions, as well as finetuning their pitches for the public event in the afternoon, which served as an important platform and networking opportunity. A suited “finale” of LEDGER’s first Welcome Camp.
